How do I Qualfiy for a Free Cell Phone?

You Qualify For a Free Welfare Cellphone If:

1. You are currently receiving government assistance or participating in any of the following programs, you qualify for a free cell phone.

  • Medicaid,
  • Food Stamps,
  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI),
  • Federal Public Housing Assistance (Section 8),
  • Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP),
  • Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF), or
  • The National School Lunch Program’s Free Lunch Program.

OR…

2.Your household income is 135% (150% in some states) of the federal poverty level, you qualify for a free cell phone. Here are the 2011 Federal Poverty Guidelines for 2011.
